Greenville, SC has a lot going on year round and there are many attractions to choose from which are held at a number of venues throughout the city with plenty of options to make everyone happy. Visit museums, galleries, the Greenville Zoo, historic sites or even take a short trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are also many pristine lakes and forested trails to enjoy the crisp fresh fall air in Greenville, South Carolina.
Situated in the Upstate of South Carolina, Greenville is known as the Textile Center of the World and offers great shopping, entertainment, historic scenic and family attractions. A nationally-acclaimed downtown which boasts tree-shaded streetscapes, public artwork, parks, shops and a variety of annual festivals and even a 60 ft waterfall.
There is beautiful Falls Park on the Reedy and the popular Liberty Bridge which is a 355 ft pedestrian walkway overlooking the historic waterfall Greenville’s vibrant downtown.

Downtown Greenville is home to Heritage Green which is a center for arts, culture, learning and entertainment. Heritage Green encompasses Greenville County Museum of Art, Greenville County Library System, Greenville Little Theatre, Museum and Gallery at Heritage Green and Upcountry History Museum.
The Peace Center for the Performing Arts is located downtown Greenville and hosts 5 resident companies: Greenville Symphony, Greenville Chorale, Carolina Ballet Theatre, South Carolina Children’s Theatre and International Ballet. The facility includes the Peace Center Hall, the Gunter Theatre, the Dow Brand Amphitheatre and the Wyche Pavillion. It is a multi-faceted cultural and special events complex located on the Reedy River.
The Bob Jones University Museum and Gallery is recognized as one of America’s finest collections of Italian paintings and is praised for its thorough presentation of the development of Western culture through paintings of the Old Masters. Situated in Greenville, South Carolina, the Bob Jones University Museum and Gallery displays Italian, Spanish, French, English, Flemish, Dutch and German sacred art from the 14th through the 19th centuries in over 25 galleries.
Entertainment
The BI-LO Center is a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment arena. It offers the ultimate atmosphere for sports, concerts and family shows as well as corporate and community events. It has been recognized as one of the top 50 venues in the world. It is a 15,000 seat, 63 million dollar world class facility.
